Throughout history, countless countries have wanted to be on top. Whether widely superior, or perhaps monetarily remarkable, or even having an extensive empire, every region wants the majority of or many of these in their toolbox of advantages. Countries who make an effort to be the cream of the crop usually turn towards imperialism. Imperialism, being the domination of cultural, economic, or political life of another region, is a very appealing course to take for the forming imperialist power. While some may argue that the controlling power can aid the expansion and success of both the controlled nation and on its own, it may, in some cases, be detrimental to the managed country. Various European power and Asia during the late 1800s towards the early 1900s became imperialistic nations to seize control over developing African Nations, India, and Parts of asia and areas, and not most of these nations were agreeable regarding foreign control.

In Great Britain, Joseph Chamberlain experienced that colonizing Africa and maintaining India would be a symbiotic relationship. He says that the human relationships they will possess with their groupe will start commerce and trade and increase more demand for goods from equally countries and that India may be one of their most effective trade associates (Doc 1). Frederick M. Lugard believed that The african continent specifically will benefit from British rule, since they are eager to progress their agricultural techniques and tools, water sources, and blacksmithing. This would accept the Africans a more civilized and advanced society so they could turn into fruitful trading partners (Doc 2). He also confessed to the fact that at the start, Britain acquired their own personal gain in mind, but now, they might change that. They had added transportation, ended slave control and tribe warfare, and also rid of a large number of diseases with medical breakthroughs (Doc. 3).
